ATech has successfully completed a significant upgrade for Virgin Australia, enhancing its V-mail Newsletter Preference Centre and migrating the web content management system. This strategic upgrade ensures the data of Virgin Australia's V-mail subscribers remains secure as the existing platform is being phased out.

Recognising the importance of safeguarding customer information, Virgin Australia seized the opportunity to fully refresh its V-mail Preference Centre. This project not only modernised the platform but also aligned it with Virgin Australia's current branding, resulting in a more seamless and cohesive user experience. The updated platform now resides under the virginaustralia.com domain, further enhancing brand consistency.

Key benefits of the new platform include:

  • Domain Migration: The move to the virginaustralia.com domain ensures a unified brand presence across all digital touchpoints.
  • Refresh of Signup Widgets: All signup widgets have been refreshed to reflect the latest design trends and functionality.
  • Enhanced Platform Administration: Streamlined processes allow administrators to securely manage subscription queries or deletion requests more easily.
  • Removal of Outdated Preferences: The cleanup of old and no longer existing preferences, provides a more relevant and user-friendly experience.
  • Stunning New User Interface: Designed by Virgin Australia's internal team, the upgraded UI offers an intuitive and visually appealing experience for users.

This upgrade reinforces Virgin Australia's commitment to delivering a superior digital experience to its customers while ensuring data security and integrity.

Nikita Chamberlain, Airline Direct Marketing Leader at Virgin Australia, said, “ATech is really easy to work with because they are incredibly flexible and open to our requirements, which is so important when undertaking a big migration. ATech’s expertise in content management systems plus high-level understanding of availability and security has made them our partner of choice for many years.”

Sarah-Jane Peterschlingmann, Managing Director of ATech, said, “We're incredibly proud to have supported Virgin Australia with hosting and managing their websites for more than a decade, and this latest upgrade of their V-mail Preference Centre is a testament to our enduring partnership.

"By migrating their content management system, we've not only safeguarded the security of millions of subscribers' data but also elevated the user experience to reflect Virgin Australia's modern branding. Our long-standing relationship with Virgin Australia drives us to continuously deliver innovative solutions that meet their evolving needs."
